What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I actually loved A Real Pain, but then I love Jesse Eisenberg. Now it's streaming so I'm gonna watch it again. Also I'm Jewish so maybe that makes a difference?
I too am a fan of Jesse Eisenberg's. But I couldn't connect at all with A Real Pain. I'm still scratching my head over Culkin's award.

Barefoot in the Park - b/w going back a bit a very young Jane Fonda and Robert Redford - looked like they were just cutting their teeth on being actors - over did it IMO? - but there were moments of nostalgia - the parks of NY and no druggies about only tramps with bourbon bottles!
ps: would so have disliked it in color!!

@ChiroDoc Just watched Double Indemnity. Not sure if I ever saw it before, maybe a long time ago, but it was indeed great esp the acting. Thanks for the recommendation.

Ok again most women do not like her material or rather indifferent to it .
That's an interesting observation. Mine has been the opposite. HP didn't do much for me (I read all the books but never bothered with the movies), but my daughter and her female friends are very fond of the books and movies while their husbands are meh on HP.

I loved, loved, loved the Hunger Games series though - books and movies.

Yesterday I went to a matinee (only six bucks on Tuesdays) to see Mickey 17. Main attraction for me was that it was written and directed by the same guy who did Parasite, which I loved. Unfortunately, this was nothing like it, it was sci fi, and every scene was more grotesque than the one before it.

Thanks for the head's up.
