What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I've only seen the original Jurassic Park (1993), and I was knocked out. But I haven't seen any of the 5 sequels. I'm wondering which of the sequels is next best to the original?

I really liked the Jurassic Park movies, and then the 1st two Jurassic World movies with Chris Pratt.

The newest one seems a lot like the others with new faces... but that's just from the previews. I'll wait for it to come to streaming. :)

I just watched Equalizer 3 w/Denzel Washington... I liked the first two much better, but I always like DW, regardless.

Agreed, the third seemed tired, and somehow trivial. Not enough action either.

In Flight (2024)

Everything is great, and mysterious, until the final reveal with a big fat nothing. With no pay off worth mentioning, it wasn't worth it.

Just saw Hopscotch. It was good, almost hilarious in places. When movies or books are recommended specifically to me I always expect a lot and am inevitably disappointed. In this case the disappointment was relatively mild.
@ChiroDoc. I can't remember the other person here who recommended it.

Just watched 'Sleeping Dogs' a mystery with Russell Crowe, on HULU. Figured it out about 2/3 of the way thru but wasn't 100% totally sure till the last 15-20 minutes. That always increases my enjoyment if the story is told in away that keeps me interested without making it too easy to figure out.

It was me. I'm sorry you were mildly disappointed.
Actually, that was supposed to be a positive note: I'm always disappointed, as I said, bc when something is recommended to me specifically it causes me to expect a lot. I know it doesn't seem so, but I want you to understand I didn't mean it negatively. I did enjoy the movie.

Last night I saw The Watch on the Rhein. Streaming on MAX. It was very good. Bette Davis is always remarkable. The film is about her husband, a committed Nazi fighter during the Holocaust, and their family.
