What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I think Doris Day was underrated as an actress. She got plenty of recognition as a singer, but she generally wasn't taken too seriously as a fine actress. I suppose it was because of the comedy films she did. I thought her work in The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), and Midnight Lace (1960) was first rate.

Drama acting aside, I thought Pillow Talk (1959) was one of the great romantic comedies. It still cracks me up today.
I am very fond of That Touch of Mink with Doris Day, Cary Grant, Audrey Meadows & Gig Young. Among other, it reminds me of treasured childhood memories of Automats in Manhattan.

Last night I watched Lilly on Netflix. Based on the true story of Lilly Ledbetter, an American woman who sued Goodyear Tires because she was discriminated against and paid far less than her male counterparts.

I thought it was excellent as did several friends who'd highly recommended it to me.
I agree, this was a great movie. Painful to watch what this woman had to endure.
