What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I watched “Bugonia” on Peacock… a new movie.
It was one of the most disturbing movies that I’ve ever seen but I couldn’t miss a second of it. It was interesting. A must see.
I had Peacock open when I read this so, looked it up. Really interesting premise.

"Two conspiracy-obsessed men kidnap the CEO of a major company when they become convinced that she's an alien who wants to destroy the Earth."

I am in the middle of watching The Great Flood, a Korean film which Netflix touts as among the Top 10 in 90 countries. That's not why I started watching it though. It is a B-disaster movie, but it's also about AI stuff. It is engaging, I'll give it that.

"Wuthering Heights" Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon. I am a big fan of Oberon and I think her acting in this is absolutely superb. Then of course there are the brilliant lines written by Emily Bronte and the lavish, dramatic production. One of the very best pictures from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Is this [The Maltese Falcon} the best script ever?
I love it, too, but I think my favorite Bogart movie is "Key Largo." He plays such an impressive man in that one and I like the way everyone's ethics about guns and violence are put to the test.

I also like, "High Sierra," a lot because of Ida Lupino's great female character, and "In a Lonely Place," because of Gloria Graham's vulnerable woman. The co-star always counts for a lot with me, but I think Key Largo has such a great cast and his part is so strong that it's always going to top my list.
