If your a drinker of wine ?….what wines and country, do you rate and like………

I don’t drink much now, but I liked …..

Red…..Spanish , Rioja …..and Californian , Merlot….
White…..New zealand , Sauvignon blanc….
Rose……Portuguese , Mateus…..

I like wine and prefer reds, but I rarely drink it except occasionally with a nice steak or pasta dinner. I'd drink it more often, but the sulfites bother me, and wine contains naturally occurring fluoride from the grapes, which I try to avoid. White wine contains twice as much fluoride as red wine, so the amount of fluoride can vary quite a bit depending on the source.

bad allergic like reactions to wine/sulfites, so have to completely avoid. Last
glass I had was in my 20's. I though like a small glass of COOKS champagne
couple times yearly...
I have problems with the sulfites too. I have heard there are things you can do to deal with them. I wonder if anyone here knows?

I've narrowed down the number of wines that I like, mainly Portuguese reds and as the song goes, "I get no kicks from champagne". When I lived in Hampshire, I used to visit the English vineyards and bought wines there. My favourite was called 'Decadence' from the Hidden Spring vineyard. This was also exported as "Ginger Nun" - the label featured a scantily clad Nun, and if you looked carefully, you could see that she was ginger! The makers of "Blue nun" objected, so the name was changed to "Ginger Novice" which featured a nun on a Harley Davidson. I still buy white wines and ciders by mail order from the Biddenden vineyard in Kent.

Mrs. L's favourite red is a French wine called "Rex Mundi".

I used to enjoy a little red wine with Italian food but I lost interest in drinking...until I met my next door neighbor a few weeks ago. Almost the first thing she asked me was "Do you like wine?" By the excitement on her face I could tell that my answer could be the end of a wonderful friendship that never took flight.

I said "um, well I used to and then my son-in-law made me a drink of Vanilla Crown Royal with Irish Cream at Christmas time and I really liked that". She said "Ohh we're going to get along great!" Then invited me over for dinner.

So I took a bottle of red "Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon" wine that I chose because I liked the embossed logo on the glass bottle and it was "only" $15 😊 Turns out, it's sooo good! And she's a great cook so good times ahead!

PS...I'm still a super light drinker but I don't think she noticed

3 - 4 ounces of Pinot Noir with dinner. Pinot Noir is the highest of all wines in Resveratrol, a heart and brain healthy ingredient, and I like it, in moderation.

I enjoy the white wines. Long ago it was White Zinfandel. I used to drink Pinot Grigio, but then someone suggested Moscato, a nice fruity wine, not too sweet. Now, it's my wine of choice.
I never cared for dry wines, or the woodsy ones....tastes like bark to me.

Although I live in Canadian wine country, I don’t drink too much of it. Basically only dry white because of the migraines associated with red. My husband can’t drink anything now so I’m thinking of finishing off the few bottles, except for one of red and white, in the rack. Just another thing to dust.
