I've narrowed down the number of wines that I like, mainly Portuguese reds and as the song goes, "I get no kicks from champagne". When I lived in Hampshire, I used to visit the English vineyards and bought wines there. My favourite was called 'Decadence' from the Hidden Spring vineyard. This was also exported as "Ginger Nun" - the label featured a scantily clad Nun, and if you looked carefully, you could see that she was ginger! The makers of "Blue nun" objected, so the name was changed to "Ginger Novice" which featured a nun on a Harley Davidson. I still buy white wines and ciders by mail order from the Biddenden vineyard in Kent.
Mrs. L's favourite red is a French wine called "Rex Mundi".
