What would you do with $10,000?

Might not be a life changing amount to some of us, there but the grace of god...but there's bound to be a few on here whose life it would make a huge difference to... I'm sure
 
I'd sock it away too. If I wanted to splurge, I'd probably spend a few weeks in Hawaii...but wouldn't want to leave my furkids behind.
 
I'd save it for a future need. Maybe take a small amount and buy myself something with it.

When I've had cashed out vacation such as when we were bought by a new company at the end of last year, I took that money and put it in my second checking account for internet spending.
 
$10,000 dollars would pay for flights to Spain several times a year for about 5 years...but if I was given $10 grand as a gift I think I would put it in my retirement fund.. I can afford to travel when I want at the moment thank you God!!

How often and for how long do you go to Spain every year?
 
Well I usually try and go about 3 or 4 times of the year...twice to my own area ...and twice to my daughters' area 8 hours drive from mine..however due to heavy work commitments and some medical issues it's been 18 months since I was last there . If all goes well with my back surgery at the end of March I'm hoping to get out soon after..

Hope you can go back soon! I've been bugging hubby to take me to Barcelona, but we've always got other trips instead. I've never been to Spain.
 
We're pretty comfortable as it is. If we were to somehow win $10,000, I'd probably give it to a charity for find someone who can really use it and gift it to them.
