I had the same problem. Make your room completely dark, even cover the LED clock. Turn off ALL electronic entertainment an hour before bed. The blue light is sleep-disruptive. Then, just relax and don't worry about it. Some white noise for background helps too. If all else fails, get checked for sleep apnea, which will often wake you at night.Sleep...over the last few months I cannot sleep through the night, I wake up. Then I frequently cannot go back to sleep. I am tired all the time. If I take a nap, during the day, I just wake up earlier that night...
Yes, I have talked to my doctor, he said...it happens when you get older!??
Yup, I only know that too well. But I'm getting better. One thing is to have a DEFINITE time to go to bed. And that's no and ifs or buts. Surprisingly this works. I used to wake up sweaty and too warm. Someone told me to turn down the thermostat. DUH!!! Solved that problem.Sleep...over the last few months I cannot sleep through the night, I wake up. oldaunt....thanks. I already do the 'dark room' deal. I have been checked for sleep apnea. I am ok there. The rest I will check out and try...again, thanks...I had the same problem. Yep, we go to bed at 10pm every night! We have for years. We keep our heat at 68 degrees in the cool months...I wake up, usually to go to the bathroom (2am to 3:30am), then when I get back in bed I cannot sleep!
