What's for dinner ( or lunch )

I had this courtesy of M&S ..for dinner tonight..

I'm not someone who eats this type of processed food very often... so I thought I'd give it a try ..it wasn't cheap.

I was very disappointed. there was just barely 3 pieces of chicken in there about 1/2 inch in size the rest was just like a plate of thick tomato slop... expected more from M & S...

...then when I looked it up online afterwards there was a pile of reviews saying exactly the same thing..
 
This afternoon I made a large pan of Minced beef, with a whole bunch of veggies, and sausage links chopped up.....

I managed to make 7 portions to freeze and also have dinner out of it, along with steamed dumplings which I made for tonights' dinner.

There's still some over in the pan, which I'm going to go down and have right now for supper....

While a tire tread leak was being repaired at a tire service, walked over to a nearby Whole Foods store and consumed a $4.29 pepperoni pizza slice. Then in healthy balance this evening mic'd a 12 ounce frozen package of spinach downed with mango juice.
 
For dinner this evening...I have my lovely neighbours to thank once more..

Funnily I was just about to put a Chicken Asparagus pie in the oven to cook for dinner, when I heard the doorbell, and there was my neighbour standing there in his dressing gown...saying he had dinner for me... both him and his wife cook)

Ladies if any of you want to have a half dressed, 40 something 6 feet good looking man on your doorstep at regular intervals, bringing you food.. and often times cake then you have to move in with me.. :ROFLMAO:

okay now it almost feeding time in this zoo of mine, however
is it really?? it is 4pm, or is it 3pm, and why do I care
anyhoo.....trying to fix a different taste tonite, will be a bag of'
fried rice with veggies chinese style, and I will add a can of
the very small shrimp!!!! I.E. Shrimp fried rice !!!
 
I found something new. It's delicious. Bought 10 bags cause it's buy 2 pay 1 now. Delicious. 2,50 euro for 2 meals, ready in 10 mins.

ha ...you're week late .lol

It'll be my turn week after next because it's the lady of the house's birthday so I won't cook for her because they always give a party for their relatives and Romanian friends and the hubsnad BBQ's regardless of the weather .. and they bring food around then to me as well ... .. but I will buy her flowers, & chocolates as I always do...

Last night I had Lasagne for dinner.. and I'd only just had it when next door came around with Fish & chips Romanian style...There was some kid of fried oily fish.( I hate that).. and chips with a side of Garlic & Capers Mayo

Well I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the fish, and fortunately it had been an hour since my dinner so I did eat the chips... they were actually really delicious very light..not stodgy at all

As I type, am eating a mic'd frozen Trader Joe's chicken rice burrito bowl. For any members with one of these stores in their area, I'll highly recommend trying one of these inexpensive dinners as besides being delicious, has a quite complex mix of healthy ingredients. Also during this era with food often packaged into large portion sizes, is small enough that is makes for a better size for lunches.
