What's on your pillow?

Evidently, there's a cotton sateen that's as smooth as silk, but I wouldn't know.... just what I read.

I have old feathered pillows handed down and cotton, silk and satin covers. I consistently use the old cotton Kmart pillow cases. They are cool, airy and comfortable. I look and feel great.

I have a pair of turquoise satin pillow cases but use only one at a time on my Derilo pillow. The ones for show are navy blue cotton.

Apparently, the type of pillowcase you sleep on can contribute to wrinkles.
Now's a fine time to learn this.
Cotton bad ...... silk good.

Wrinkles Due to Aging Can Be Determined From the Type of Pillow Someone Sleeps On, Which Type Can Help Reduce Them?
From the article:
Australian-based cosmetic nurse Laura Lynch said in an interview that cotton pillowcases can worsen wrinkle formation because it does not allow the skin to slide, so it catches the skin and puts it into a position that does not allow it to bounce back to its natural form.

Yea, not buyin' that, we have cotton pillowcases and don't have any of that problem.

Cotton pillowcases over here. I don't buy that about wrinkles either.

I didn't do a lot of heavy research, but I saw mixed answers from dermatologists on any benefit to the skin from silk pillowcases. One in particular said no -> a dermatologist on skin care

Staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, thorough but gentle cleaning of the skin, followed by a
non- comedogenic moisturizer such as CeraVe seem to be far bigger issues to dermatologists.
