What's weighing on your mind today?

Hi Paulina. If you are thinking of me and my Watchman, thank you.
I went in at 5AM Friday for an outpatient appointment. It turned out to be more of an extended inpatient adventure.
During the procedure they had to administer CPR. Fortunately I was under general anethetic. The Watchman was successfully implanted. Then came lots of tests. My heart is weak but has somewhat recovered from Friday's event. I thought they had cracked ribs during the CPR but an x-ray today confirmed that they are just bruised and should recover faster than a break.
So I got home at 4 PM this afternoon and I feel grateful.

Oh my, that was so much for you to go through.
I too, was thinking of you and your procedure on Friday.

I'm glad to hear that you've made it and are back home now.

Gosh they say that's minimally invasive but it sure wasnt, for you.

I'm very glad to see this post of yours.
🥰

Hope you are doing better @Babs2u 🌸

I'm so afraid of retaliation from Iran for the bombing from my country. I'm afraid political zealots will attack Americans anywhere arbitrarily as we try to go about living our lives. I've never felt so afraid before and I may retire because I don't want to be out and about everyday anymore. I no longer feel safe and just dread work now. Something has to give. I'm too old to live what's left of my life feeling terrified.
None of us should be living afraid of war... all of us are older... we 're now worried for our kids....

I often think of the people who are ill in hospital or hospice if a war was to break out.. they have nowhere to go... and not possible for them to get up and go even if there was anywhere...

l've already been tested vis a vis the survival instinct. l just only wanted to die quick.
Ohh, are you referring to the false nuclear attack warning in Hawaii a few years back, @Olivia ? (I'm thinking you are.) I can't even imagine how terrifying that must have been. I got a chill just now typing this.
