I used to wear sandals all Summer but can't find a pair that I don't have to break in and they give me callouses from being so hard. So now I wear my tennis shoes in the Summer. I would like to go barefoot but there's too much a person can step on out there.

Thanks to diabetes, I can't be barefoot indoors or outdoors. I also have to avoid Athlete's Foot, which means no shoes when it's hot; only sandals. Luckily, I found a sandal that provides some ventilation but also protects toes & doesn't have that "Gladiator" look. "Keen."

Barefoot sounds good to me too Ruthanne, but I can't do that, walking my dog everyday.. Sandals just don't work for me either. ... I get tripped up in them too often.
So I wear flat slip on canvas shoes and tend to go thru them often, but I buy cheap ones, so that figures.

Crocs, I can walk in mud, mow the grass, step in dog poop then just hose them off, in the house barefoot most of the time.

Same as Sunny. I wear Sandals or Sketchers

I wear sneakers all the time I even have a pair that I wear only in the house. They seem to make my knees feel a bit better. When I was younger I wore flip flops outside and slippers inside. Those days are gone. Now its all about support and comfort.
I hear ya. I need to get some new supportive ones!

I wear flip flops a lot in the summer. After a really nasty bout of plantar fasciitis, I found several brands of flip flops with arch support, which enabled me to continue wearing them. Reef brand are my favorite.

I also discovered OOFOS flip flops, much like Mrs. Robinson's FitFlops. They're a recovery sandal, and oh so comfortable! I bought Ron a pair for Christmas, and they've become his go-to after work every day....so soft and cushiony, but with great support.

I also wear canvas slip ons, but they also have arch support. My choice of footwear on a daily basis depends on what I'm wearing, which is often dictated by what kind of work I'm going to be having to do that day.

Since we have warm weather most of the year, I have several pairs of good quality flip flops (Reefs, Adidas, and yoga mat type). I wear them outside and go barefoot or wear slippers in the house. Sneakers only if I must.

If I go out I wear sketchers. Around the house footie socks.

I don't wear flip flops anymore since I tripped and fell down the outside stairs.
