When did you move into the place where you currently live?

I'd have to check the paperwork (or ask Michelle), but I think it'll be a year and 1/2 in a month or so.

The longest I ever lived in the same house was about 5 years. It wasn't a house, it was the apartment I moved out of about a year and 1/2 ago. When I was a working man, me & the kids moved a lot. Back then, two years was a lengthy stay.

It's nice knowing I won't ever be loading up a bunch of stuff to move again....this is it.

I was born here in 1933. Aside from 4 years when first married I've lived here all of my life. My "toy box" that my dad made for me is still in the attic and contains some of my toys.

We gave the home to our youngest daughter and her family back in 1995, retaining a right to live here clause. We've shared it with her family since then and it's been wonderful. We helped bring up the grandkids (who are now in their twenties)and now they are returning the favor.

Built this house just over thirty five years ago (wow!). I always say I bought this house twice, first time when we built it then second time when I got divorced and I bought my ex out. Her buy out was more than the build cost. lol
