Unique, and always kind .. a ferocious fighter for the underdog.I barely knew Shalimar, but really, really liked her. To be harassed over the death of a loved one is just cruel. Very unique individual, Shalimar.
Perhaps there are too many memories here of Phil.Me, too. She's on once in a great while, but not like before.
I used to run into her on another senior forum but I didn't feel that forum was a good fit for me so I dropped it.I believe she is still on another forum. Don't know why she left SF
I met Shali on another forum before this one. Don't know if she's still there..probably not.I used to run into her on another senior forum but I didn't feel that forum was a good fit for me so I dropped it.
He was shown the doorWhen I first joined there was a gentleman from Australia (“hypochondriac”?) who was loquacious. Haven’t seen him in a long time ?
I liked reading Lon's post but he was kicked off. I often wonder how he is doing.
He is still kicking....I see him on another Site I visit..Recently I revisited an old forum he and I both visited, to see if I wanted to go back. I checked his user name, but he stopped going there long before he left here.
You can add Mike4Lorie...Missing for 6 days now..A few members who were regular posters, now have been gone for a while.

We don't get too worried about Mike on the games because he posts lots for several days then regularly goes awol for several more days.. he's sometimes very busy and other times not too well for a few days , but we always look forward to his return because he blast through the forum like a happy hurricane when he's here.....You can add Mike4Lorie...Missing for 6 days now..
I was wondering about him, too.Hope @treeguy64 is ok, not seen him for over 2 weeks![]()
I agree. Maybe forums should have an exit interview. Companies do that now. These are the things that keep me up at night......
I’m on a Tennis forum, Guitar forum and Mercedes forum. I’m the one always wondering why, what, made them just up and leave? Hey, I have feelings....where did you go? No goodbye?
I do think some (disgruntled members) turn those types of things into some sorta dramaMaybe forums should have an exit interview. Companies do that now.
One of the folks that I miss and think of often is NancyNGA.
I enjoyed her threads about projects at the farm, vintage pictures, etc...
Good or bad I would still like to hear what they have to say. It could be a real eye opener. Then again they might have passed on to the forum in the sky.I do think some (disgruntled members) turn those types of things into some sorta drama
But, yeah
A, 'Hey folks, been nice, but gotta go elsewhere' would be worthy
Especially on this forum, where geezers have a habit of takin' a deep six unexpectedly
