Where is Denise 1952?

I sort of remember that but I can't remember why she was irritated. It's too bad that she was unhappy here because she was usually a cheerful person who showed amazing personal strength during difficult times. Well, bless her wherever she is.

Oh stop... I think that when people are "Seniors" they would have enough sense to avoid going in and reading in a forum that is likely to upset them.. OR was just not of interest them. There are several forums in this site that I simply never look at.. Hobbies and Crafts, Outdoors, Photography..etc I don't leave or demand they be removed. If "politics" upset me I'd stay away from it.

Very good advice....too bad there are those that had rather drum up drama than follow good advice.
 
Thanks for thinking of me Georgia;) I am doing fine, as someone mentioned. Don't spend as much time on forums as I used to, but a couple folks mentioned someone here had asked about me:) So wanted to speak up, wish you all a Merry Christmas, and Very Happy, and better New Year!!

Hi Debby, thank you for the nice reply:) Sometimes I forget to easily, about folks, and don't stay in touch with them;) Funny, it feels as if I've just been next door, LOL! Everyone here knows about the SOC forum I'm sure. Been hangin there when I hang, LOL!! Merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year!!

Thanks Georgia, it's nice to know people think of you "in a good way" LOL! I wanted to say hello, and maybe see some old friends, and see who is new around here too;)

I'm doing ok, had a pretty good Christmas, way more comfy with being on my own. Didn't get that puppy yet though;) Maybe in the Spring, I don't know. I am so free right now, but thing is, I sure miss something to cuddle;) ttys, Denise

I hope so, after losing our old dog last year we got a pup who is now getting big and he's a joy to be around every day! Laughter and furkids are the best medicine!
 
Thanks Seabreeze, like your 2017 avatar:) Sorry to hear about your dog, I remember him from your pictures etc. A house really isn't a home without an animal to love:) Glad you guys got another. I'm having to do some other things before I am truly ready. I hope it will be sooner than later:)

Christmas was good for me Denise, stuffed my face with some big delicious King Crab legs. By midnight on New Year's Eve I'll be dreaming sweet dreams. :sleep:

There you are Denise! So nice to see you and I hope you've had a great Christmas! Did you spend it with friends and family? I can't remember if you have family where you finally moved to, but I'm sure you've made new friends there. I think you're just one of those folks who gets to know others easily and with some of your life experiences, I'll bet you always have lots to contribute to any conversation!

One thing that I've found is that when you are real friends (whether online or in life) time doesn't have much meaning. When I was 18, I met my friend Lori and we all hung out as a crowd for about six years, but then the babies came along, life went in different directions and we hardly saw each other. In the last twenty years, we haven't phoned, emailed or visited more than a half dozen times and you know, when we met her in Quebec City in September, it was like we were all kids again and nothing had changed and we still love each other. There's 'friends' and there's 'acquaintances'. I get the feeling that you're a friend.

That's so true Debby, I have a friend like that back home in Oregon. Reta and I did go our separate ways of course, and rarely talk on the phone even, but we got together in 2010 and we were just like back in school;) So fun, I even have a hilarious video we made together. We do get to see eachother on Facebook often, maybe twice a week we are on at the same time;)
