Which commercials do you hate?

I hate:

- The ones for Medicare supplement ins. with a mousy-looking guy named Bill Engval(?) or something.
- Ads for catheters or colostomy bags
- The one with the ex-NFL player and his wife who hawk some weight reducing snake oil. They repeat the phone number at least FOUR times at the end. Yeah, good way to get me to buy something -- shove it down my throat.

Radio:

- "Zip Recruiter" is really obnoxious and plays EVERY commercial break.
- There are others, but I can't think of them right now.
 

There is one about the Life Alert button that nearly drove me not crazy but crazier! They played that commercial so many times each day it was unbelievable! I got to the point that if I heard that lady say "Help, I've fallen and can't get up" one more time, I was going to scream. That was when I would turn the channel each time that commercial started. It may be a good device, I don't know, but don't make us sick of it by "cramming the commercial down our throats" so many times every day.

Yeah, I don't get these companies. Are they so stupid they don't realize that force-feeding commercials every 10 minutes will turn a lot of people OFF? I used to email them and complain but I don't bother any more because it didn't do any good. But there is NO WAY I would EVER buy, or un-hate, any of the products these really annoying commercials are hawking.

And sometimes there are really cute, catchy ads that I enjoy seeing each time they come on. But those are always few and far between.

Well, one thing for sure, a "sense of humor" has to be there for certain commercials, like the one with camel walking thru the office asking what day it is. It's a Geico commercial. I absolutely love it!

A really irritating one, for me anyway, is the KFC/Mrs Butterworth commercial. The one where Colonel Sanders (whomever is portraying him) lifts Mrs. Butterworth in the air. So, so stupid!
 
I actually like the Geico commercials. They're comical farce which they except you to play along with. I do.

Now, Liberty Mutual tries to do the same, but mostly they're really irritating.
 
That idiot on the Jardiance commercial who keeps reminding us that "If you have Type 2 Diabetes, you are three times more likely to have a heart attack or stroke." I wish HE would have one.

HAHA. "Lose twice the weight." Well...I guess believing something ridiculous is easier when you really want to believe it.

That's as ambiguous as something like: If we had a high temperature yesterday of +1F, and today it got to +2F, is it twice as warm today than it was yesterday?

I feel obligated to point out the Colonel Sanders dancing with the syrup bottle as particularly ridiculous , and just plain dumb........:rolleyes:
 
The one that really turns me off, I have to look elsewhere, is where this guy is sitting on a chair and this black liquid starts to engulf him until his face is barely visible. I still don't know what the ad is for.

You didn't ask but my favorite ad is the one where a father is holding his little toddler and he takes him out into the driveway and it's raining really hard and when they come back to the garage all wet the baby is clapping with delight. It says something like, "Take time to be a father today''. It always makes me smile.
 
I hate the one where they treat cars like dogs playing in a park. two people are talking like thier cars are dogs, saying how cute they are playing together.
I think it is so stupid.
 
I hate the Farmers Insurance commercials. Their jingle is SO lame! There's one about psoriasis that has a simulation that's supposed to be itchy skin but looks like a bunch of wormy things. I hate wormy things.
