Which decade(s) were/are the best times of your life?

The 50s-60s & 70s are fading, I still of course remember events but my "emotional" attachment to those times has significantly decreased. For me, the 80s & 90s are taking over as "the best times of my life". The music, my love life, the general quality of life were on a roll.
...I have more to add, how about you?

70's- graduated from high school, college, moved out of the house, lived in my 1st apt for 10yrs
80's- a long lasting job '84-'11 as pharm tech in local hosptial, bought my co -op apt in '88 where I still live today, had dinner with my parents once/wk{they lived in same apt building 6 floors above me} until they moved to retirement community in Hanover,NH in '92

The 50's and 60's till the 70's....I was married in 1965 to my husband....We had our son a year later and in 2 more years our daughter...
We didn't own a home....We were in a little aparatment first then we found a bigger house to rent...We couldn't buy a home until we moved
to Ohio and found a home of our own ....But I didn't like it there, we decided to sell the home and come back to NJ....Where my husband
traveled to NYC...for work and I found a Secretary job in a new school ….I was there for 25 years and retired.....We are still in the same home....

I have to say the last 30 years have been the best, figured out what I wanted and went for it. That is how long I have been here.
Great to live where I live and still have the technology available to live comfortably. There is a lot of work here to keep me moving...lol
Bears on my deck, Moose looking in my kitchen window.
And one day an Elk showed up in my driveway, he was a beauty. Just a bit of a sample.

I don't think I can really pick a favorite, each has been different in it's own way and has had highlights none of the others have had.

The closest I can get to it is picking my favorite years of my life would would probably be my college years (Fall 75 - Spring 82). I was on a parental scholarship so I didn't have to worry about paying for my studies both during or after going to school. The first four years I lived at home and went to Junior College which was just $15 a semester health fee plus books and other supplies which were of course all paid for by my folks. Then the last three I was in university living in the dorms during the school year and living at home summers and holidays. There were lots of great friend, activities, classes, experiences, etc...

However I've had so many amazing experiences since then I wouldn't trade where I am today to go back to living as I did then.
