Why are you still playing around with this? Heat isn't always the best thing and NSAID's are hard on your stomach. You've complained about your doctor in the past, why aren't you seeking better medical care? Is a yard sale more important than your health? It was excruciating last night. It woke me up. I thought I'd never get beck to sleep - no position was comfortable. I finally took some NSAID and put heat on it. After a while I dozed off, but this is getting tiresome. I'm used to doing what I want when I want and this has pulled me up short. I have to get ready for the big garage sale in 2 weeks. I always wished I knew when people were going to buy and I'd only have to put those things out. It's going to be even more challenging this year. Look what I set up last year, than had to pack away again.
Maybe it will rain.

You spend time writing us a questionnaire because youāre in pain. The questionaire had to do with your health. You have some serious health issues going on which we all address. It was excruciating last night. It woke me up. I thought I'd never get beck to sleep - no position was comfortable. I think she said she went to urgent care. Here urgent care doesn't have diagnostic equipment. Here in Las Vegas those are good for needs like fever, minor cuts <--- not deep cuts just cuts some have no clue on how to treat. You went to the hospital for advice which you arenāt going to take. Are you now going to turn this thread into āhaving another garage sale ?ā
Exercise(or PT) needs to be gentle in order to strengthen and keep the joint and/or muscle group flexible and pain free. NSAIDs are "problematic" as they increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. Prednisone is really a 'wonder drug' but only intended for very short intervals of use. It may take some trial and error for you to find the right PT(exercise) routine to get you past your pain. I've been dealing with an old hip injury lately, I am changing to a less strenuous Yoga practice this week, I just have to keep conscious of my movements.I saw two doctors and neither did anything to help me. One gave me exercises to do which make it worse and Prednisone which didn't help. My PCP only suggested I seek physical therapy.
Ok āURGENT care.ā The main point is that she asked for advice, got some advice from a qualified doctor and decided to dismiss it.I think she said she went to urgent care. Hi Debodum, when I had my initial PT evaluation, it served me well. Information about what wasI have a PT next week, but the email I received today stated that it's only an "evaluation" which suggests to me is is an assessment only and no actual PT will be done.
Well keep at it Debodum, it can take time to get a proper diagnosis, take good careI have had two minor changes, but can't see that that have anything to do with the leg problem:
1) I got a new bed
2) taking a different calcium supplement
Maybe you need a neurologist?I just hope the therapist can help instead of throwing pills at me. My PCP didn't even examine me. When I described the symptoms she typed something into her computer and it showed a diagram of leg nerves.
Maybe the calcium supplement is causing your issues. Too much calcium causes belly pain, bone pain, muscle weakness, etc.I have had two minor changes, but can't see that that have anything to do with the leg problem:
1) I got a new bed
