Trump was on Fox calling Ben Carson mentally ill..... and he DOES have a point..

Trump said, “You know if you think about what Carson is saying. He hit his mother over the head with a hammer. He hit a friend in the face with a lock. He tried to kill somebody with a knife and said he suffers from pathological disease. When you suffer from pathological disease, all right, you’re not really getting better unless you start taking lots of pills and things. He went into a bathroom and all of the sudden he found religion.”

As O’Reilly tried to defend Carson, Trump called the host gullible.Trump went on, “You know what’s amazing, Bill? He trying to prove he did it, so he’ll have credibility. Who would want to prove this?”O’Reilly pulled out a version of the standard Republican youthful indiscretions excuse, and Trump said, “I never hit my mother over the head.”

This is what the Republican presidential primary has come down to. One of the top contenders is arguing that he was a violent kid who tried to stab and assault people while the other candidate is saying vote for me because I never tried to hit my mother over the head with a hammer.All of this glorious insanity is taking place on the cable news network that promotes crazy as a daily course of business.

The whole spectacle illustrates why the Republican Party is screwed in 2016. While Democrats were in South Carolina having the best candidate forum of the year, the top cable news host and the Republican front-runner were bickering over the mental state of Ben Carson.

I'm sorry but, just thinking on the mention of Trump said and clicking on the link, I was already. :laugh: after link..... :lofl: These politicians can they get any worse. I so hate to find out.

The point I was making... Did anyone EVER think someone claiming to have hit his mother in the head with a hammer or slamming a lock in someones face would be bragging about it and running for President... AND be in 1st place in the Republican polls? Seriously? Is this really happening?
 
How about stabbing a relative in the stomach and hitting his belt buckle? I think it was Bill O'Reilly who was defending Carson saying he was only 13 at the time and people change. I still say, from everything I've heard that Carson said from Joseph in the bible building the pyramids to store grain, to people who go to prison come out gay, etc., etc., I stand firm that if I had to vote for one of them, it would be Trump over all the others...and I don't like The Donald, but I like the others less.

How can a man having such great academic prowess, and proven medical career achievements possibly show such an "alter-side"?

But even if he didn't... What kind of people would want to vote for someone who is claiming they did? What kind of appeal does this have... and for whom????
 
Many people "filter" what they hear, possibly even unconsciously, and hear only what they want to hear. Many say to others, only what they believe the listener wants to hear.

Some people want to abuse you,
Some people want to be abused by you,

I think Trump may have hit the nail on the head (no pun intended)... when he said is someone is so mentally ill to do such things... he may now be on a lot of medication... Might explain Carson's calm demeanor... lol!
 
Lots of fun picking on the Republican candidates. But where are those willing to take on the US problems in the Democrats side? None but a couple willing to even try. Why is that? Non thinking ones. Cowards to step up and offer better ideas and show us real leadership? One of those running is still under the FBI eye for security. Maybe will be cleared but still in question. Just what is wrong in the Democrat party? Maybe some afraid to come out and be ridiculed by the far left players that have no ability to let the people to speak. Just follow the far left ideas or be considered whacko. Lots of things to consider no matter which side folks prefer to vote for. We should take 'party' out of the ballots and allow folks to think what they think they want rather than just party vote.

I personally don't know anyone who is FAR left.. What is that? I know lots of Progressives and lots of liberals... but no one I would even think of as FAR Left.. what does that even mean? Does that mean Communist? who knows... just a term thrown around by people who don't know what it means. Everyone I know is in favor of capitalism and people getting ahead by hard work.. so I have no idea what they are talking about.

Did you get me confused with someone else? Personally, I hear good ideas...and some Really Bad ideas...coming from Both sides of the aisle. The Far Left, AND the Far Right are equally responsible for many of the problems we have to deal with....IMO.

I tend to agree with QuickSilver....in that listening to Carson speak, I wonder if he isn't taking some "Tranquilizers".

You missed Warri's point. YOU always preface the word left with "FAR". Most liberals (Progressives) are NOT FAR!!!!!!!! You are the only poster who constantly uses "FAR left" whenever you mean liberal. One in awhile you even use FAR FAR left.
