Yes, Elvis is classic. But there is also a type of music called "classic rock" ....just like there is Disco, County, Blues, Opera, etc.
Classic Rock is what I listen to.

I gave the answer of Art Garfunkel of Simon & Garfunkel and some may say he is technically not a Classic Rock singer and I get that. He is more of a Folk type singer, but was certainly in that Classic Rock time frame. Many would say Freddy Mercury(Queen) was the best male vocalist of the Classic Rock scene and I suppose he fits the mold for that. His voice is certainly amazing for sure and there music is more rock.What is classic rock?

Bill Medley, best known as one half of The Righteous Brothers, is my favorite. Of course I'm hard of hearing, along with being tone deaf. At the end of my 8th grade chorus the teacher said, do us both a favor and don't sign up for 9th grade chorus.
