Oldman understands as well as I do this isn't free money. Adding to the national debt will have to be paid for. No big mystery paying for debt is done with taxes. Really old retirees like me will probably not be affected.
Something not mentioned is the impact on Social Security. Floated about several times is the potential for a 23% cut sometime close to 2035 when the fund can't meet it's obligation. Right now with millions out of work & businesses shut down, Social Security payments aren't going in. The impact of that could bring that closer to reality.
What I would like to see happen since the cause is directly the fault of China that China forgives a large percent of our debt to them. That would ease the burden on those that will have to foot the bill for this disaster.
