It doesn't take much to be a millionaire in many US cities, Los Angeles included, if you own your home outright.

My house is currently valued over $1.2 million and I have no mortgage, so by definition (having more than a million dollars in assets) I qualify as a millionaire.

That said, unless I take a loan against the property or sell it, that frozen $1.2 mil won't change my disposable income.
 
I saw today that after scientific study the Wolves at Chernobyl
are like Cockroaches, Nuclear resistant due to Genome / DNA changes.
Experts say they will stand and box like a Kangaroo next generations.

I also wouldn't be near my kids or grandchildren. I have no need or desire to tap the equity in my home, was merely pointing out that a lot of Americans are millionaires because of the increase in home values.

"Mad Jack" Churchill, a British Army officer during WWII, was famous for
going into battle with a longbow, a broadsword, and his bagpipes.

Churchill participated in a number of raids throughout the war, including one in
Norway where he jumped off the landing craft playing "March of the Cameron Men"
on his bagpipes before throwing a grenade and charging into battle. In 1944, he was
captured in Yugoslavia after the rest of his command was injured or killed by mortar fire.
As the last man standing, Churchill played "Will Ye No Come Back Again?" on his bagpipes
before being knocked unconscious by a grenade.

He was taken to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, but escaped along with a Royal Air
Force officer shortly after. Both of them were recaptured and remained at the camp until the
next year, when German soldiers overthrew the SS and released the prisoners at the camp.

After the war, Churchill retired and appeared as an extra in the 1952 movie Ivanhoe.
 
The Charter of the Forest, also known as the Carta de Foresta or Charta Forestæ, holds historical significance as a charter that re-established rights of access to the royal forest for free men. This charter, along with the Magna Carta, played a crucial role in England’s constitutional history, safeguarding liberties and privileges against an encroaching aristocracy1. Crafted in the 13th century, it remains one of the earliest statutes in environmental law, addressing governance of natural resources and competing environmental claims2. The Charter of the Forest stands as a testament to the evolving concept of human rights in relation to nature.
