@Mike
Can you share any more details with us?
In the 90s, Pinky I was working at refurbishing a
large supermarket in London, I was on the top
of a bank of electrical panels/switches, pulling
out a disconnected cable, all the other cables
were live, they were armoured cables and they
produced induction, magnetism, I had a wallet
full of various cards in my trouser pocket, I must
have brushed against several live cables while up
there.
This was on a Friday, I was taking my lady friend
to Cornwall to visit my mother, after I finished.
When I got to Cornwall, and went for fuel, my card
wouldn't work, I tried 4 different cards, they were
all the same, I then had to borrow money from my
friend, which was a bit embarrassing, none of the
cards in my pocket survived.
Remember Videotapes for films before DVDs, they
were wiped by magnetism too.
Mike.
