Taylor Swift is my granddaughtrs favorite person
...and my youngest granddaughter's too! She went with her friends the other day to the cinema to see 'Taylor Swift:The Eras Tour'.

Hope this Wikipedia article about her helps!I honestly don't know. Am I unusual in that not only do I not know but I don't really want to know!
Gone are the days when I had interest and good knowledge of pop music of the day. Now I have not a clue. I admit I don't know anything to about Ed Sheeran either, except people seem to worship him.
Am I the only one and am I missing out on something?
Isn't she singularly responsible for saving NFL football from oblivion a few weeks ago. It must be true since I read it online. She certrainly has the new media dancing like the puppet it is to her pulling the strings. How could anyone not know who this is? You see her face everywhere. I don't listen to her music, but as a man, I do enjoy looking at her.

You lost me at Kelly Clarkson. I have a hard time listening to her. I do wonder what Ms. Swift would sound like without all the electronic enhancements.IMO, she has a mediocre voice and could never touch the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson or even Ariana Grande. She sounds like the majority of other cookie cutter pop singers out there, like they were churned out of a factory production line. But she managed to make the list of billionaires recently, bless her heart. It's amazing what studio magic and great promoters can do. Admittedly, though...she has to bring it in her live concerts, so she must have the showmanship needed for that. Her new concert movie is the highest grossing (concert film) of all time. Now, if she can just finally have as fulfilling a love life.No
She does have a beautiful voice, obviously classically trained. She's got impressive creds too...composer, producer with impressive performances all over the globe. See..that's what I'm talking about. She has a distinctive voice. The first time I heard and was impressed by Kelly Clarkson was when she was on American Idol. I watched the episode before the finale and at first wanted Justin Guarini to win, until I heard her voice above the others in the group song. I haven't heard much of her music since, however. I just remember she stood out and I wanted her to win, which, of course...she did.You lost me at Kelly Clarkson. I have a hard time listening to her. Giorgia Fumanti - now there's a voice.
To each his own. Giorgia Fumanti's voice hurts my ears. You lost me at Kelly Clarkson. I have a hard time listening to her. I do wonder what Ms. Swift would sound like without all the electronic enhancements.

I haven't done a deep dive into that one yet. I've been listening to Folklore a lot, though.I love her Evermore CD.
I like it better than Folklore. Take a listen if you get a chance.I haven't done a deep dive into that one yet. I've been listening to Folklore a lot, though.
She doesn’t have a broad vocal range but is considered mezzo soprano meaning, she’s on the high end of alto and low end of soprano.I know of her - how could you not: however I have rarely listened to her. I rarely listen to female singers at all - I am averse to high pitched voices
