Who Sat Down First?

Hope the image shows clearly. A just completed puzzle which was so cute it has to make you smile.

My guess is the two ladies were there first and the man knows they are whispering about him

love a good puzzle to do ----the man looks out of place compared to the way the women are dressed there.

I think they are looking at the dog and wondering how these two got together. My mom loved to do puzzles. Some were so pretty I glued them on cardboard and have them on the walls of the finished part of our basement. Others are on our garage walls which is painted.
Every time I pull into the garage or go downstairs I see them and picture her doing them.

I think the Ladies were probably the first to sit on the bench, and then the guy and his dog, I think they are looking at his tattoo's and wondering why he has that dog with him...

The dog belongs to one of the lady's. The ladies both know that dogs are good judges of character and are wondering why the dog jumped into the man's lap.

I think the man sat down first then the ladies had no choice as it was the only bench available, that’s why they’re squashed up together at the end holding tight to their bags !

I agree. But the ladies are dressed as if it was the late 30's or 40's. The guy's cap and case on his lap are also dated... 50's? But the skull on his vest is recent. Hmmmm.

The ladies are definitely dressed from a different era, as are their hatbox-type luggage. The man is definitely of a more modern era. Perhaps the artist wanted to mix the different eras.

It does look like a Rockwell.

Same style, but the artist is Susan Brabeau. She does a lot for the puzzlers. A favorite of mine along with Charles Wysocki.

Dead animals draped around one's neck. Yuck! Truly disgusting. Even as a very young kid, that kind of stuff made me want to puke on the women wearing them!
