Who/what do you turn to for support/explanations in times like these?-the God of your choice, scientists, family, the man in the moon, no one?

From my last conversation with one, most ants doubt that we exist, yet we do - Even if the ants cannot prove it within their simpler minds or belief systems. Yet, I bare then no harm, care for them, and leave them food from time to time.

If we could comprehend God, God would not be God. Many things spiritual or scientific are beyond our understanding and of this I take great joy.

Actually, while the ants do not believe in you they certainly believe in me. They especially love my bathroom. Due to the virus they must be out of TP. I have no ideal what they find on my kitchen floor to eat as the puppies generally take care of the husband dropping cereal problem.

Why is he always dropping cereal on the floor? I have no ideal.

As to comprehending God, the term God is so general. Do you mean God the Father, or JC? Or one of the many other gods in the world worshiped by many fractions of humanity. Comprehending any god, yup, not in my wheelhouse.

I can’t even comprehend why my husband, for over 48 years, drops cereal on the floor and fails to pick it up. Although I’m sure the ants appreciate this behavior. You remember the ants that believe he will always drop the cereal on the floor. He has yet to disappoint them.

It's actually quite simple - he cares for them, and leaves them food from time to time. (and also the puppies)
 

Is there order in the world or is it total chaos? If there is order, what's it origin - Not human by any stretch of the imagination.

Depends on your definition of order, but yes there is natural order. What is it’s origin-how would I know? How would you know? How would anyone know? But if it’s not human-then it must come from a god, which god? Have no ideal.

IMO, the sacrifice of JC was in his appearance on earth before he arose to heaven, instead of hurrying on. And his return to earth after he gained heaven. Once I die, if I gain heaven-not coming back. It would be such a great sacrifice to leave heaven. I’m not sure I could do it.

As for the gospel, well, it was written by men, and while I am no bible expert, I believe it was written years after the death of JC, if not decades. I take what I can from the Bible and leave the rest behind.

I would just suggest delving into Scripture and asking the Lord to open your heart to the truth, it worked for me and I had been a real fence sitter for years (I was a Catholic as well)..... I truly believe that the Bible is the inherent Word of God and all we need is to follow Him...all during this Pandemic I would observe so many people in a complete panic and I would start to lose it but after thinking and praying about the words in the Bible “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” these words resonated to my core and gave me such peace that I am no longer in the panic mode....whenever I get concerned I will ask for His help and ask Him for His peace and immediately this feeling of complete peace fills me, I wish this for all the people of the world that they would turn their lives over to Christ, follow him and then His peace would then comfort them during this challenging time and throughout their lives culminating with being given eternal life...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I’m glad the Bible has helped you and that you find comfort in it. But I don’t wish that all the people in the world turn their lives to JC. God gave us freedom of choice, so let’s leave that choice in place and not wish an unwanted choice upon them.

I think most people who reject God, do so as they "hope" to plead ignorance when upon death, they stand before the Almighty.

If this is all there is, I say it should be survival of the strongest. I will take what I want, when I want it as long as I'm strong enough or smart enough to take it. There is no consequences in the life to come, so who among you can stop me? Few, if any, among you, and in that case don't I become a god? :unsure:

This makes no sense to me. To reject God, you would have to believe in God. If you don’t believe in God, how can you reject him?

Your argument is not with me, I don't matter and really don't care as much as YOU may think I might, but rather with a higher being. Do not take this conversation too lightly.

No, you don’t become a god until someone worships you. Then you become a god to that person only.
 
I think this was discussed among the Greek gods, well, not the gods but people studying the Greek gods as there were so many of them. As the popularity of a certain god lessened, new gods sprung up. The old gods died off, were no longer worshiped.

As a side note, got the emails stopped YAY.

😱🤔🤣 I don’t think I have deeper thoughts. As for sin, yup I have sin, loads of sin. I am catholic, us catholics have sin.
