Why am I remembering these 2 things all morning?

Since I woke up this morning these 2 sayings are going through my mind.
"I love you I love you I love you Almighty.
I wish your pajamas were next to my nighty,
Now don't get excited and don't get Red,
I meant on the clothesline and not in Bed."

I honestly think I am losing my mind.

oh yes lots of them when we were young teens ...little loving rhymes on Valentines day ...and when my husband was in the Forces I;d write all sorts of things on the envelopes...

H.o.L.L.A.N.D ( hope our love lasts and never dies.. S.W.A.L.K ( he'd right back ..B.U.R.M.A .. et..

Some of things we wrote on Valentines cards when we were young teens were the 2 above by Sassy...

up a ladder 1,2,3
if you fall,
fall for me.

snow on a mountain,
sun can melt it,
I love you,
and I cant help it.

..all very innocent stuff...

Maybe it's like the Last Song Syndrome. It's when a song is playing on a loop in your head. But yours is ( based on the comment of @hollydolly ) possibly the Hallmark version of LSS

they certainly do.I remember my mum who would have been 87 now, telling me some of the rhymes she used to write

I have trouble remembering those..I remember just maybe one or two.. but it's surprising that I don't remember because there was barely a playtime at school where we didn't skip rope
