When no one can park in there?
Unbelieveable what home owner pack in there. Here in Florida I would die to be able to park in one during the long hot summers. But No I gotta park under a tree where Im the favorite of birds.

We have a two car garage, and one car fits comfortably with plenty of room to walk around it. My husband has some work benches against one wall, and some shelves for storing vehicle, camping, etc. items. But I have noticed some homes that have a full set of furniture in their garages, full couch, dinette table, refrigerator, etc. Not sure if they just hang out in there, or if someone is actually living in there. We never got any kicks from hanging out in the garage, if we're in there, we're usually doing some kind of work, etc.

I used to have 2 cars A freezer A fridge A wardrobe (for daughters books) A tool chest and some supermarket shelving

I changed carpet in house for vinyl and had to clear every room out so garage is full of household furniture etc.Gradually gettting it all back but am left with a lounge suit.Spare one I was given by company while our lounge went in for repair under warranty. They let us keep that one.Am using the one they gave us and our repaired one sits in garage.Had it for sale for $400 (cost $3000) but no takers.
Traded my small car with towbar for larger one with more legroom for my wife(No towbar)
Ok got towbar but wrong trailer fitting
Made up a adaptor to fit trailer plug........No go Trailer needs re wireing.Been too hot to work outside so trailer sits full of old carpet waiting for a re wire to take to tip

Thinking of hireing a skip and put all junk from garage plus carpet and start putting cars back. then working on trailer at leisure

At our previous property the garage had room for three cars, but we never put any of ours in there. Most people don't seem to put their cars in garages, but store stuff in them instead.

My first martial arts school was in a 2-car garage. Threw down a few layers of carpet, hung a few heavy bags and I was in business.

No heat, so I ran a kerosene heater in the winter. It made us tough.

We have a double garage but they are both full and sadly the cars are parked in our car park..

The topic reminded me of this story.

Dear Frank

I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake.

The garage door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt when it bumped into your car.

I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me.

You know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart.

I am enclosing a picture for you.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

I expect those two car garages are called parking garages because that terminology is a Real Estate Marketing ploy.. Probably sounds more upscale in someone's estimation.

Im a great believer if "junk" doesnt get used within 30 days Ill throw it out with the trash.
