I am seeing more and more where people have symptoms that aren’t what they expect to be feeling when they have a heart attack.
My younger brother had pain in his upper back according to my SIL and they didn’t know what was going on until it got severe.
That is when they called for EMS but by that time it was too late.
There is a warning going around on the internet where a woman is warning people about not having the standard chest and arm pain but still having a MI.
My neighbor had nausea more than anything but was transported more than once before he died.
I was lucky enough to have the standard symptoms when I had my heart attack.
What saved me was that my cardiologist had me carrying nitro glycerin spray and I had some heart health aspirins handy too and took about four of them.
I remember having that slight pain in my left arm and chest that slowly got more intense.
I sprayed the nitro under my tongue and the pain eased off for about 15 minutes.
Then the pain came back a little quicker the next time and I knew that it was heart problems so I did the spray and about four aspirins and was transported.
Now what I am wondering is why don’t the doctors have everyone over the age of fifty carrying nitro of some kind and aspirins.
That was what saved me from having damage to my heart. I have carried these for many years since.
I had four stents installed for the heart and one for my kidney.
