Thank you so much to all my friends on SF but sadly we canceled our trip today because the ice and snow is coming soon and will be with us until tomorrow night. Our flight was scheduled to leave at noon tomorrow. We are pretty sure flights are going to be canceled throughout the day tomorrow so we decided not to take the chance. The good news is that everything was refunded and we will try again in March when we thaw out.

I'm so bummed. I've been packed for a couple of weeks. My friend made it to Miami. She is bummed as well but she frequently travels solo so she will be fine.

So I will not be going missing on SF!

Sorry to hear that, but totally expected considering the weather we're having. Sometimes life just gets in the way, doesn't it. Better luck in March and glad your friend is okay and will be fine, I'm sure she's disappointed not being able to see you.

I just read that the Dallas/F.W. airport was shut down, Thursday, due to ice. Hope the poor guy got out.

Thanks @fuzzybuddy. I never got out so we have spent 2 days in snow and ice lockdown. My friend is loving the weather in Miami. She said it is 80 degrees and sunny. She boards the ship tomorrow. I've rebooked for March 15 and will just go solo.
