Wish they would bring back

Watchable TV shows on over the air channels or even on the megabuck cable. The old style family style shows, like Gunsmoke, Rfleman, Monk, WKRP, etc. Most shows today, I'm done with it in about 15 minutes, If that long.

Industrial Arts or Woodworking in Secondary Public schools. There are a few left, but most have dissolved the program. The ability to build and repair is needed yet and the manual arts is a great start.

Items that are built to be repaired, not thrown our or replaced. When I buy I always look for that feature, but it's getting tough. That includes vehicles.

Checking account and saving accounts in brick and mortar buildings that are close by that actually pay a reasonable interest rate.

The ability to access the internet and various web sites without have 47 different passwords.

Drive in theaters, with movies of yesterday.

I am wit'cha my brother (or sister, if that's the case) and so many of these I know of too but are these "liked" things or "unliked" ones. I'm thinking liked (mostly so) because that's how I feel about them but I've learned not to assume from anything I read online. But you've given me lots to think about here and I hope that we can talk about some of them, good or bad, in the future! Thanks for sharing and I like your name because I needashave too! Hey, that could be an altrnate name for me, needashave2! Have fun, enjoy the day!

LOVE, LOVE,LOVE YOUR POST! Agree with everything, especially the drive-in movies!

I like the old dial telephones; seems like I didn't make as many mistakes on phone numbers when I was dialing rather than pushing buttons. (I know: some specialty sites sell dial telephones but I wish the push button ones had never come out. Plus, you know what: we had those big old black dial telephones every place I worked back in the day and it seemed like those things lasted forever; these flimsy push-button ones seem to last about a year and a half if you're lucky.)
OMG, yes, the old rotary telephones!

Count me in as another old-fashioned zealot that would love to have an old-fashioned rotary telephone again!

My son has that ID, were pretty harry folks.

Live humans answering your questions when you call some major company over a billing issue or a disruption of service. I don't need 30 mins. of recorded options, none of which work for my problem, and cherry on the parfait, the whole spiel repeated in Spanish.

Also my gas station does give free air. And there is a guy who pumps gas at another station I go to sometimes when I'm on the road who cleans my windshield. I used to love that service.

Do you have to plug it into an electrical socket?
No. There are 2 different versions. One comes with a plug for your car. With that one, you plug it into your car's outlet & start the car. It inflates as long as the car is running. The cord is long enough to reach from the car's plug to the tires.
The other version comes with its own rechargeable battery. That one doesn't plug into anything as long as the battery is charged.
I actually have one that came with both - a plug & a rechargeable battery. I prefer using it with the plug because the battery takes several hours to charge.

Thanks. I've been thinking of getting one of those and that's not a bad price.

Miami VIce, a great show.
Crank style pencil sharpener, usually mounted to the wall with a trash can below it.
telephone booths, many a date was made in a telephone booth.
Wings in automobiles and trucks. I have some antique vehicles and they are a great addition.
Glass bottle, round top, coke machines. I just saw a few of these a person was collecting.
Manual Transmissions. I have several vehicles with the clutch and are expected to be phased out in the next few years, the saying goes they are millennial theft proof. I enjoy driving the manual.
Skating rinks, while you skated in a circle to a DJ playing horrible music, but a great time watching us skate and eventually falling.
Woolworth's lunch counter, stoped for lunch when we went to see Santa.
Sugar daddy suckers, caramel like taste.
cafes, with the little roller file which was a wall box for the juke box and you could select your songs from your table. I was a great hangout back then.
clean shows like Andy Griffith

sorry, working late tonight, my mind was in the past...
