I had this year's shot about 3 weeks ago along with the flu shot. Only mild arm soreness. However, 6 days ago I got sick and tested positive for Covid for the first time. Honestly, it wasn't any worse than the annual cold that I usually get, and today I'm back to about 95% and just waiting to get those two negative tests. Still positive this morning, but it didn't register nearly as fast as the previous tests, so I assume the little bugger is getting flushed out of the system.
The timing was terrible though. The Mrs. flew out today for a convention - so we have been hard isolated from each other at opposite ends of the house since I first tested positive. Too much money sunk into this trip to risk her getting sick too.
Did the shot help? Who knows, but thankfully I didn't have any major complications.
