A woman was filmed posing in front of a damaged T-Mobile store in Santa Monica, California, on Monday, June 1, a day after protests and rioting were reported across the city.

“White women continue to disappoint. These protesters are not a content opportunity for you,” Nicole Baio, who filmed this video of the incident, wrote on Twitter. Baio can be heard in the video exclaiming the woman was “making her boyfriend take her picture in front of a smashed T-Mobile.”

Thanks, Nicole, for your healing remarks in these trying times. Our society is certainly better for people such as yourself. :rolleyes: (n):poop: (No harsh words for the rioters who ruined the business and stole everything... just the silly woman posing for a picture.)
 

I watched that video several times and came away with 2 possibilities; she was not posing at all, but she looked to me as though she might have been assessing the amount of damage to the store, and secondly, perhaps she was employed there and the man was taking a picture, not of her, but the damage. As for the one who videoed this, why didn't she simply ask the woman if this were so? So many judgemental people jumping to all the wrong conclusions all the time. No wonder this country is a mess.
 
A lone white woman stands in front of a destroyed T Mobil store. Why not post the videos of the blacks destroying that store after stealing everything in it like they did to countless stores in many cities nationwide? I don't see any comments in the OP as to the reason she stood in front of the trashed store. Stop ignoring the facts.

How do you conclude that it was "blacks" who destroyed and looted the store? Photos and videos I've seen of the demonstrations show a very racially diverse group.
 
It took about 4 seconds, a woman has a picture of her in front of rioted store. OMG, in the same video, a white guy walks by AND ACTUALLY LOOKS INTO THE STORE. Oh horrors, I'm getting the vapors.
I just can't figure out what sick, perverted, psychotic, episode that's supposed to be. It's not like she's stepping over dead bodies. It took less than four seconds. Didn't bother anybody.
 
It's even dumber than that. It looks like she is just looking at the storefront, and has her back to the guy with the camera. She certainly doesn't look like she is "posing!" She may have been unaware that she was even being photographed.

And even if she was aware, she wasn't smiling, mocking, jumping around, or acting otherwise stupid. She was just somberly looking at a damaged storefront. Ye gads, time to get a grip?!
 
I wouldn't overthink this.

It could just be a guy taking pictures of what guys have been taking pictures of since cameras were invented.
