woman goes berserk over slushie

Well, I just watched your video Marci. She's out of jail on $1,000 bond and ordered not to go near the McDonald employees. If I were one of those employees I'd get the helloutta town asap because you are right. People are no longer rational over piddly stuff.
That's an easy $100.00, ten % needed in Ohio to cash out.

I will say this, regardless of that woman's behavior...those employees would never have gotten hit if they'd kept they're distance. She didn't get violent until they stepped in front of her. They never ever should've dragged her to the floor and hit her like that regardless. The idea is to try to bring the situation down not encourage it to get worse.

Where could they retreat to where the chick could not follow, in addition, they have no duty to retreat. They drug/knocked her to the ground to ward of her attack.

I'm curious as to what that woman's situation is. She completely lost it over a trivial perceived slight.

There's the saying, I don't remember who said it, but it goes: when people lose everything, they lose it. She lost it. And now she has to pay a fine, which no doubt will exacerbate her situation.

Edit: It goes: "When people have nothing left to lose, and they've lost everything, they lose it."

That's what I said in my post #25. And if two of us thought of that then likely the legal system will too. It ain't over till it's over.
That has no legal application at all, and in no way is that provocation to commit assault/disorderly conduct.

Apparently you didn't read all of my post #25...
Um...I have a question though. Why did the MC boss tell her she couldn't have 3 flavors in her cup? It's self serve and all the flavors are the same price, so what's the harm? If that's not actually an MC rule...which would be highly unusual if it was...this may come up in court and used as provoking the customer.

The reason is cost. That would be extra and she'd still be paying for the usual amount. We don't have buttons on registers for an extra shot of something for nitpickers.

For example...a big mac is let's say $5 and a crispy chicken sandwich is $6. You can't go in and order a big mac with chicken instead of beef and lets say for example the 9 pieces of bacon that go on a baconator. It boils down to cost.

Her attorney could use the "Twinkie Defense." Eating too much sugar caused her behavior.
It worked before in a double murder case: He was released after 5 years. FOR TWO MURDERS.

Trial and "Twinkie defense"[edit]

Main article: Twinkie defense
At the trial, White's defense team argued that his mental state at the time of the killings was one of diminished capacity due to depression. They argued that he was therefore not capable of premeditating the killings, and thus was not legally guilty of first-degree murder. Forensic psychiatrist Martin Blinder testified that White was suffering from depression and pointed to several behavioral symptoms of that depression, including the fact that White had gone from being highly health-conscious to consuming sugary foods and drinks. When the prosecution played a recording of White's confession, several jurors wept as they listened to what was described as "a man pushed beyond his endurance." Many people familiar with City Hall claimed that it was common to enter through the window to save time. A police officer friend of White claimed to reporters that several officials carried weapons at this time and speculated that White carried the extra ammunition as a habit that police officers had. The jury found White guilty of voluntary manslaughter rather than first-degree murder. Outrage within San Francisco's gay community over the resulting seven-year sentence sparked the city's White Night riots; general disdain for the outcome of the court case led to the elimination of California's "diminished capacity" law.[9][10] Psychiatrist Thomas Szasz, a critic of forensic psychiatry, gave a speech to a large audience in San Francisco in June 1979 calling the White verdict a "travesty of justice" which he blamed on the diminished capacity defense.[11][12]

Her is my prediction on sentencing after conviction. Judge: "You can serve 30 days in jail or be sentenced to work at McDonald's for 30 days".

Chicken: "Work at Mickey's, hell no, I might get jackass customers like me, I'll do the 30 days".

If the cup is only made for 2 flavors then McDs would have to swallow the cost of additional pump. You see now?

The counter registers/pumps shots and costs right?
I don't know how to make you understand this. If it's a 16 oz cup and you're only allowed to give them 6 oz of one flavor and 6 oz of another flavor and someone wants an addional 6 oz worth it's cost. And there's nothing on the registers that says (button for aholes that want 3rd pump additional $1.00). Therefore the customer is gonna expect to pay the same 2.99 for a 3.99 drink.
