The words of a provocateur are often inflammatory rather than accurate or true.
Seemingly meant to be divisive and hurtful, or to draw attention to themselves,
they are not a reliable source of actual information. (At least without checking their source!
)
Their content might be deliberately false or misleading, or simply put out to others, with limited or no knowledge of the subject.
They sometimes seem to take joy from reactions of hurt, anger, or distress, rather than wanting to raise some important issue in a way that might foster the sharing, respect, or understanding of various viewpoints other than their singular point.
