Would you agree to DNA match to find compatible romance?

I haven't experienced any problems before now becoming romantically involved with a woman so I doubt DNA matchmaking will be a necessary option in the future.

When matchmaking sites made their debut I thought, how utterly pathetic.

As for DNA matching, I wouldn't be interested in that either, because attraction (for me) consists of a series of attributes, so regardless of whether or not DNA was a match, I see deeper into a perspective mate than simply chain chemistry.

Not even possible to find a mate by using DNA.
DNA doesn't show personality traits.

The old royal families of Europe didn't need genetic testing to find a cousin to marry. Heck, they were all cousins in one way or another, sometimes on both the mother's AND father's side.

If you were a royal, you pretty much HAD to marry another royal and pretty soon you were paddlin' around in the shallow end of the gene pool (which could have used a little more chlorine).

This resulted in a higher concentration of inherited diseases like hemophilia (which was referred to as the 'Royal Disease'), as well as insanity and the "Habsburg Jaw".

No, You see I'm half Norse and the Scandinavian men are too subdued for me. I've got some of the Celtic though and am intrigued by a wee bit of ornery rebel!
Is that how they do it? by Nationality?
No, Not interested anyway! ( I keep thinking I'm younger than I really am) hahaha!
Nope. Not gonna happen!

Ed..perhaps you are under the wrong impression here. The DNA matching they are talking about is to determine what diseases people have and which can be inherited by their offspring. Similar to blood tests in America years ago (I don't know if it is still applicable) before a couple got married.

I can't see it working very well without personality assessments thrown in. Nurture has a lot to do in shaping what nature originally gave us.
