Would you like to share a thought?

I would like to go one day without the mention or reading of sickness, war. shortages, gas prices, and anything else that's negative. I bet if that were to happen there would be complete silence because we don't know how to carry on a conversation without mentioning these things.
I t does seem to be the new norm.
Negativity predominates our lives because the world does seem to be regressing in many ways.
I know I wake up and look for news on how the Russian/Ukraine conflict is going.

I hope my children and their children will continue to survive in the world that keeps getting worse and worse. I hope my passing won't break them. I wish they weren't as worried about me as I am about them.
What's on your mind?
Is there anything you want to share with members here?
I think it is time for me to go out into the desert to have a break from society
Sounds like you have something you might want to share too.

I am sick of being forced to remain in the rat race because of my early life choices.
Retirement is so far away.

I wonder if anybody ever had a perfect life. So much depends on chance; where we were born and when, what kind of parents we had, and what natural abilities we inherited. We all screw up from time to time. Once, I bought a Renault Dauphine. Sometimes things work out well, and sometimes they don't. All we can do is keep plugging along doing the best we can.

HAHA. I dated a girl whose brother bought a "Le Car."
I've never seen anyone with such regret.......

It was the mid 1960s. I was riding with a friend in his mother's RD when he went airborne, flipped end over end, and then rolled several times. Neither of us was hurt and he was able to drive the badly damaged car to our destination. The good Lord was watching over us that day!

(His mother was not at all pleased!)

Wondering why winter seems so very long this year...just found out our average "last freeze" is Feb. 15th.
We just had a freeze last night - March 12th. Gee, now I know why I was wondering why winter seemed so very long...because it is very long. Whatever happened to global warming?!

we haven't had a long winter here this year... in fact for the first time in living memory for me I was still mowing the lawn in November...:D

It is isn't it? I was setting up my husband's coffee this morning and made the mistake of opening the kitchen window curtain to reveal heavy snowfall. I try to avoid seeing such things. It's middle March; I'd thought, hoped, we were past the snow part.

I miss LA. Heck, I'd love AZ or NM - much rather weather (ha) a sandstorm or extreme heat than snow and ice.

Right? LOL If we're going to wreck the Earth, can't we at least enjoy the warm weather whilst doing so?

It was freaky...we had a very warm December and then when the middle of January hit, all cold broke lose.
It would come and go with very warm weather in between. Still doing that. This week all the schools decided to have spring break on the same week, and the airport is jammed. They are telling people to get to the airport 3 hours ahead of time for domestic fights and 4 hours for overseas flights, yet the roads to the airport are jammed for double or triple the usual time.

Just send son in Ohio the clip from the news...he's coming on Wed. and we are supposed to pick him up.
Big sigh.

What your seeing IS part of global warming. It doesn't mean everywhere is getting warmer all the time. Maybe do a little online research to better understand.https://www.nationalgeographic.com/...ming-arctic-colder-winters-climate-change-spd
I have the impression it was being used tongue-in-cheek, not so much a factual statement about the science behind it.

My interpretation, however; I could be wrong. Gods, know I often am. ;)
