I don't know you. I might.
I don't know you. I might.
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I don't have any of those limitations but have taken care of individuals who have. My heart goes out.Not my idea of a fun time. I take diuretic medication and unless the transport has an onboard bathroom, be prepared to make frequent stops (I imagine other seniors have the same issue). I'd also probably sit next to someone that insists on showing me every photo ever taken of their grandkids, then when I try to start a conversation, they will turn away and do the same thing to someone else. I also get motion sickness very easily.
The only place I really want to see is here:

I am certainly no millennial body builder, but I am certainly still physically capable of helping a lady who has fallen and injured herself. In fact I've had to do it twice in the past month. Is there, perhaps, another reason you want millennial body builder with you on the trip?I absolutely adore traveling... ya know, I'm going to choose "maybe" for this particular question, though. My reasoning is that I don't think I'd want to travel with *only* seniors. If I'd get klutzy and fall on my posterior or sprain an ankle, (how embarrassing!) it would be nice to have a gen x or z or millennial bodybuilder on the trip to help out and fireman-carry me back to the vehicle.

I agree. I've decided to use the term "semi- seniors" to denote those of us who are old enough for the discounts, but not elderly.I think I'll have to organize my own. So many around here feel like Dawn of the Dead or something:

I don't live in a rest home yet. I think I need to take advantage of what I have before I lose it too.
"Senior" just encompasses too large of an age range these days.
I'm elderly, and it shows all over my face, or else there a old woman who jumps in front of me in the mirror.I agree. I've decided to use the term "semi- seniors" to denote those of us who are old enough for the discounts, but not elderly.
With a bit of luck, some day you will become "an old crock".I looked into a few local operations that do things like run buses of seniors on day trips. They typically work in conjunction with senior centers to findvictimscustomers.
Sadly it was entirely dominated by old crocks just like in the senior centers and the trips look as dull and saccharine as that nasty "sweet tea" some people chug down.
So being younger and still halfway-able I didn't pursue it.
you're absolutely right.... take for example the singer Kylie Minogue... ..she's 56 years old,I think I'll have to organize my own. So many around here feel like Dawn of the Dead or something:

all the coaches here in the UK used for day trips or longer trips have bathroomsNot my idea of a fun time. I voted no. Not because of the group being seniors but because I like doing things by myself.
I've got to the point where my time is precious to me and I've become a bit selfish how I spend it. I like my own agenda, doing what I want when I want. I guess I no longer play well with others. lol
