Would you live in a haunted house or any house where you've learned someone was murdered? Realtors have to tell you this.

Me = No. I'm sensitive to ghosts or the spirits of those who have died so I wouldn't live in places like this. There would be too much activity for me and I don't think I would ever be able to relax.

Maybe. If it drove down the selling price it might be worth it. It depends on what room the murder was committed in too. Any house like mine had previous residents unless it's new. I sometimes wonder what their life was like when they were here.

Someone died in this house before we moved in.. but they'd only been here a couple of years before the old guy died, and his disabled wife was taken off to live somewhere else.. so I doubt he'd want to come and haunt it..

..in answer to your question Chic..I wouldn't choose to live in a haunted house...

When my parents‘ house was being built, a worker died there. They were informed of this before buying. It wasn’t haunted.

It has become normal for someone to return to their home to die peacefully. Will it be haunted? Will it be a negative in purchasing. I know people who won’t buy there.

If it was a gang murder, I‘d have to be confident that they knew that nobody they were after was still there.

Unless it’s a gruesome scene, I’d consider it for the right location and price. I don’t believe in a place being haunted. Guess I could always be convinced otherwise.

My parents home was what you would call active. Mom would call the priest often to bless the house. Where I live now is clean. The one at my parent's place scared me a couple times, once by shaking the bed, and when I wouldn't respond it grabbed and shook the covers. I didn't like it at all because it gave off a malevolent vibe.
