Would you want to live to the age of 100?

Everyone in my ancestry lived to be centurians. My Grandma told everyone she was 90. After her death, they found her birth certificate. Her whole life she lied and said she was 10 years younger than she really was!
But, No. I want to see what's next for me! There is a whole eternity still left to live!

Thought about this a bit more, yes I would like to live to 100 or older. Got out of the city, absolute brilliance ,stopped buying processed foods fantastic. Keeping very regular types of exercise, Einstein brilliance here.
Today, spent two hours cutting, splitting fire wood, stacked it in the shed. Inside, changed over the living room, just a few chairs and threw out half a dozen things. Doctor asked me how I do it, I asked him what?
Says I am going the wrong way, I am supposed to be slowing down etc.
As long as I enjoy what I am doing and I do that for sure. I will stick around, hell most people don't believe the life I have led now. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::devilish:
No not concerned too much about the virus, no I don't miss other people. Life is good....

Good for you!

Oh, hell, yes. What's the big deal about being dead? You've got eons for being dead, only a short time for being alive. Even if you believe in an afterlife, how is a few more years of life going to infringe on eternity?

I'd love to live until I'm 200 years old, because in my view, the first 55-65 years of most people lives is spent working and trying to get on ones feet, leaving little time left to enjoy.

Here in Canada, the average time-frame between retirement (age 55) and death, is all of 16 short years, and that doesn't reflect quality years, so figuring in the first 50-60 as being lost years, add in another 40-50 years cleaning things up in and around ones castle, and now you have 100, free and clear and enjoyable years ahead of you to do anything and everything you want.

As for living to 100, so long as I still have my full wits about me, am fully mobile and able (without the aid of walkers, etc), am 100% healthy, sure, bring it on, but the thought of being cooped-up in a 12'x12' room, laying in a bed having my diapers changed and being spoon-fed, no thanks.

If I lived to be 100, I'd likely be in a nursing home and I hope to God I'm outta my ever-loving mind at that point.

Same here... not concerned too much about the virus.

I had a dream that I was going to live to the age of 89. That would be fine with me. As long as I am in pretty good health and go in my sleep. I am 60 and not on meds. The only med I take is muscle relaxer when needed. Therefore, I more than likely will pass away in my sleep. I do not want to be put on meds... which for me, will cause more harm than good at my age.
