if your parents were the age you are now, do you think one or both would have enjoyed posting on this forum?

My mother would have loved to read it to keep in touch with the outside world and would have enjoyed reading about other people's lives , she didn't get out much, but I'm not sure she would have posted...

Maybe my mom but for sure not my stepdad.

BTW......I really like your new avatar Keesha, kinda makes me wanna run to the kitchen and grab a bowl of cereal every time I see it. :playful:

My mum would’ve loved playing the Word Games as I do, my dad probably would’ve got banned form every site for being obnoxious ! :D

I don't think so.

My mother believed that the only reason people had VCRs was because of an interest in porn and I'm sure she would have viewed the internet in the same way.

My stepfather would have been amazed and enjoyed all of the DIY information and how to videos on YouTube.

Maybe my Mom but not my Dad. I think the only thing my Dad would have enjoyed was keeping up with a few relatives on Facebook and since he enjoyed woodworking and fixing up old lawn mowers and selling them at garage sales,he would have liked the marketplace on Facebook or Craig's list.I would have had to do the listing though.

No, my mother wasn’t even computer savvy.

I think she would have enjoyed some things on the internet though but not forums.

We did show her pics occasionally on FB, etc. and she liked that.

Probably not. My mother was a sociopath. My father was a bitter misanthrope. My mother helped my father get that way.

Absolutely both would love it. Dad would have been organizing meetup trips with other members and mom would be playing the games and sharing recipes all day and night. :love_heart:

My parents were very private people, so they would never have posted. Dad would have enjoyed the games and particularly the music videos.

My dad, at age 92, spends a large part of the day playing games on the computer. As far as participating on any forum, no way would he. I got my introversion from him. However, he does have friends and enjoys meeting for lunch, etc. My mom wouldn't have either. She really didn't like even sending emails much. I have to laugh because she took a typing course at the local business school and wasn't really very good at it. But she did tickle the instructor. My mom was an extrovert and it was easy for her to talk to people and easy for them to like her.
