Wow! New Internet users Tax

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
The FCC has authorized a tax directly paid by the user (that's us). It amounts to approximately $1.80 per day. They define a day as being if your ISP shows you online, it counts as a day. When does it stop. All foreign countries including the UK and Australia are considering a similar tax. When does it end?

:wtf: ??? :yeahright:

I don't mind paying taxes for services I'm using. I'll grant that this appears to be a flat regressive tax and I would prefer the government to get its revenue from progressive taxes focused on the taxpayer's ability to pay. But raising income/wealth taxes is currently not going to happen.

 Actually, there may be a tax levied, eventually. Like the tax we pay for our telephone. About $7 a month.
