It was ground zero in the coronavirus pandemic and underwent the world's first -- and arguably strictest -- lockdown.
Now, the central Chinese city of Wuhan appears to have moved on from the virus, as thousands of revelers gathered in an open air water park for an electronic music festival -- without any masks or social distancing measures in sight.

OTOH, if no new cases have been reported there since mid-May, it could be time to start returning to normal? Although I'm very dubious about how safe that crowd scene is. How about a gradual, more moderate return to normal?

Wuhan may indeed have eliminated COVID from its city. Their mandated draconian 76 day lock down appears to have yielded the intended results. If that's what happened, I congratulate them on their success.
