Yes... Only in Canada...

I just dread winter coming and I hate snow. Millions of Canadians agree with me. They go to the southern United States.

And it's rink rat, not ring rat.

And it's Tarrana in this neck of the woods.

The penny is no longer in circulation.

I found one today. What do I do with it?

Well Mike4lorie, you got a few chuckles out of me. My older son wears shorts all year round.

Camper6 - Tarrana? - no wonder I never know what you are saying...
Found a penny - have it gold-plated and hang it on the wall.

Keesha - You won't catch me going to Florida in the winter (even tho I can afford it), I like the seasons here. I spell it "wimps" although both spellings are acceptable.

Hi Mike, thanks for posting the pictures
As for the Tim Horton's coffee, there are alot of locations here in Buffalo and WNY.Every time I walk by one,the drive thru line is always busy.I'm not a coffee drinker, but people I know who drink it,swear its the best

Me neither. I can’t afford it but love Canada in every season and I’m definitely no whimp/wimp but thank you for the grammar lesson all the same . 😉

Nobody I know has ever used the word ‘eh except in making fun of people who think we do but I truly enjoyed viewing this thread. It’s hilarious.

We truly do get snow that deep at times but then it’s an official ‘snow day.’🥳

Send it to an American. We still use them here and no one checks to see if it was made in Canada. The American government is so smart about money that it costs us more to still use pennies than to do away with them.

I loved those pix! Roared! I love Canada! When I lived back east I have been to Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, even Newfoundland! Most gorgeous scenery, kindest, most hospitable people. Felt safe everywhere I went. Unfortunately I moved too far southwest & had too many joint problems to make more travel practical, but still wish I could find a way to get to British Columbia.

I love this thread about Canada. I have often thought about moving to Montreal. But I don,'t know what the gag is about this whateverit is?

And from traveling in Canada, there is one thing I do know. I you ever say anything bad about Wayne Gretzky , they'll never find your body.
