This coronavirus has made us all aware of the importance of 'social distancing', and rightly so.
What I'm now hearing regularly is, "You don't know where he/she's been," refering to anyone that comes a bit too close.
When I was a lad, my Mam used to say to other lads I was playing with in the street, "Oi, you lot, go on, get up your own end of the street," then under her breath to me, "You don't know where they've been."
And my sister who was friends with another girl who often gave my sister 'nits', Mam would tell her, "That little madam's hair could walk on it's own, don't be bringing her into our house, you don't know where she's been."
So, have any of you heard the above words, or something similar lately?
