Not me! My ancestors were all farmers and horse tenders; people scratchin the Earth to stay alive. But, I'm proud of them!

I come from a very long line of fishermen. Except the ones who immigrated here became either dairy farmers or wine producers.

I think if you go far enough back everyone is related to some famous historical figures. I am related to the Tudors and others. When you think about it, we could all be related to each other even though we live in different countries. It has sparked my interest in reading about those historical times.

Well the you can call me Lady Mizmo
While at University in Edinburgh several years ago my Canadian granddaughter purchased in my name a small piece of Land which entitles me
to be called Lady of Glencoe. Got the certificate of ownership with gold seal and everythin..



There are many of us lords and ladies all having paid 100 pounds for the privilege.
This property is held as royal land and can never be sold unless we all agree to sell. The money helps withe preservation of the land.
There is a gathering every summer of all of the owners which I would love to be able to attend but too far away and too old now.

I just got a call from my sister, who has gotten very active in the genealogy of our mother's side of the family (my dad's side, while for the most part honest folks, were "just" folk as I have learned in my days in the field).

Well, she has determined that our 24th-great-grandfather was King Edward I of England, also known as Edward Longshanks, of the Plantagenet House.

Well, whoop-de-doo......pardon me while I go polish my tiara. It's a little tarnished these days, y'know.

The only "Godiva" I'm interested in associating with comes in pretty gold boxes and costs $35 a pound. Do saddles come in XXXL-wide? 'Cause that's the kind I'll need after my consorting with the above-mentioned Godiva during the holidays. As they say, "A moment on the lips and forever on the hips"
