No friends to buy for, two brothers and I don't exchange gifts anymore, hubby and I don't exchange gifts, so no Christmas shopping.
Oh absolutely. If your daughter has a French boyfriend, you’re required to get him something charming, slightly confusing, and possibly scented. But seriously, a small token would be lovely. Maybe something that says “Welcome to the family” without screaming “I’m watching you, Pierre". A box of local treats or something from your area would go over great. After all, diplomacy starts with dessert.
