Your favorite expression

Got out of the shower today, looked in the mirror, and said: "Ahhh, clean as a whistle".
Then I thought, that's a strange expression because I wouldn't think whistles would be all that clean.
Just wondering what your favorite expression is:
"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em"
"Early bird gets the worm"
"It's not my problem"

It doesn’t mean diddley squat.

I know I use many different expressions. Not sure what are my favourites. Will think about it.

I've always used the term 'ologist' when being a bit facetious. An example...

Wife: "How much is Tuna this week at the grocery store?"

Me: "What do I look like...a Tuna-ologist?"

So when my daughter was only 4 years old we were outside and I asked her "What kind of butterfly is that?" To which she replied...

"I don't know Daddy. I'm not a butterfly-ologist."

I wrote it down in her baby book with a lot of other cute sayings they had when they were toddlers.

I like these kinds of sayings. It gets directly to the point without lengthy explanations and especially helpful when angry.

That's my current favorite expression, @bobcat48 ... not a message to you.

That is a very common phrase within the Canadian Forces, to some body who "should know better " but insists on putting in their opinion on the subject. A second phrase that is used is the One about the guy who is an "excrement pump ", or a waste of rations. JimB.
