I've been landing in some dark places lately. I'm going to start searching for old favorites. It used to be just taking a trip to the video store. Now you have to find them elsewhere. So list some of your all time best comedies, first that come to mind for me:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Meaning of Life-The machine that goes BING and the cow being thrown over the wall. Monty Python has always made me laugh to tears.

Fatso-Chaining the refrigerator;) Dom Deluise helped me understand my husband's family like no one else could.

Bubble Boy-A very young Jake Gyllenhaal and a very silly movie.

Defending Your Life-Albert Brooks at his best

The Nutty Professor-The Eddie Murphy one.

The Mask-Kind of a dark comedy but so much fun.

I confess that I am not a big fan of comedy films---but one that I loved --"Some like it Hot"---Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis.

You will have to go a long way back to find my comedy films, Helzapoppin! The three Stooges, Abbot and Costello. No! You are all too young to remember them.

"Planes, Trains and Automobiles", "As Good As It Gets", "Animal House", "Uncle Buck", "Back To School", just to name a few.

I confess that I am not a big fan of comedy films---but one that I loved --"Some like it Hot"---Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis.

Some Like it Hot is one of my all time favourites! I'm not a great love of comedy films either but did enjoy the Doris Day films. Never ever liked Monty Python.

Abbot and Costello. No! You are all too young to remember them.

Actually I was lucky as a kid. They had reruns of Abbott and Costello...George and Gracie too. They were all terrific. I've read much about the Marx Brothers. Apparently very nice guys in real life.
