Roger Whittaker was always one of my f avorites, especially the Last Farewell but most all his songs. I was also into other 80's singers, especially the late Kenny Rogers, God rest his soul, and also Barbara Mandrell, the Oak Ridge Boys, the Gatlin Brothers, The Statler Brothers all gone or retired. I wish t hem well.

This song by Glen Campbell is really poignant, it was one of the last songs he recorded before his death from AZ...in fact he really didn't know where he was most of the time, during the recording of this and the following song.. but he was such a proffesional and music was his blood.. they were able to make this song with him after much hard work..
